INGREDIENTS:

½ ruby red grapefruit

1 handful of kale, chopped

1 cup coconut water

1 celery stick
EQUIPMENT:

METHOD:

Combine the grapefruit, kale, coconut water and Blendie in the blender. Blitz until smooth.

Place the celery stick in the glass and nibble as you drink your smoothie!
NOTES:

Grapefruit - helps improve insulin release (better control of hunger and moods) and evidence for weight loss in those with metabolic syndrome and is also high in antioxidants.

Coconut water = hydration.

Kale = antioxidants.
