FAT BURNING SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS:

  • ½ ruby red grapefruit

  • 1 handful of kale, chopped

  • 1 cup coconut water

  • 1 celery stick

  • 1 Cleanse Blendie

EQUIPMENT:

  • blender

METHOD:

  1. Combine the grapefruit, kale, coconut water and Blendie in the blender. Blitz until smooth.

  2. Place the celery stick in the glass and nibble as you drink your smoothie!

NOTES:

  • Grapefruit - helps improve insulin release (better control of hunger and moods) and evidence for weight loss in those with metabolic syndrome and is also high in antioxidants.

  • Coconut water = hydration.

  • Kale = antioxidants.

  • Matcha green tea metabolism booster.

  • Celery - when chewed helps to boost metabolism and makes you feel less hungry. Fibre. Protein.
